1st Annual Steam Gala
The 1st of a (hopefully) long line of Steam Galas operating every year through the autumn. The event will start at 9.00 AM on Saturday the 1st of November and will end at 5.00 PM on Monday the 3rd of November. All Steam Locomotives will be 'fired up' for the event and all will be readily available for viewing, There will be 5 main events each day of the event including Brake van rides with No.5 of the Lion works colliery, Light engine runs by A3 'Flying Scotsman', Demonstration Freight Workings by 'Smokey Joe' class 0F, Short passenger services allocated to J39 Class, and the Unveiling of new GWR King class 'King Edward the First' as well as many other services and demonstrations.
Tickets cost only £5.00 for the whole weekend and Children under 12 get In free so remember to Keep an eye out for the official video on Youtube if you miss it!
